This is a sample of how Axoth would write his Journal.

Murann, The Guild, and The First Adventure:

Just a few hours after the ship docked in this port city, I started analyzing the best method to make a living in this warmer and less urbanized land. In this city, there were many opportunities for the mundane, but I was escaping from bureaucratic heaven to be much more.

Two occupations piqued my interest: a traveling merchant or an adventurer? I questioned myself, and the answer came to me as "you don't have the funds to be a merchant, do you?

And thus, I applied for the only Adventuring Guild in Murann, and I was lucky to do so, turns out to be "Arcane use of magic" is illegal in the entirety of Amn, and the Guild is one of the places that can bypass that.

It was time for me to actually be an adventurer, so I went to "The Notice Board” and started reading the requests, moments later I was joined by a gentleman and then by another, after a short chat in front of the board we decided it was a good idea to cooperate on a group quest and thereby I met both Mr. Fang and Mr. Soupy Fly.

Our Quest had us Neutralize whatever creatures spawned in a mining cave after the miners broke into some kind of an old ruin buried inside, but before reaching the location we were ambushed by bandits and an awkward situation arose, the three of us did not have much I did not even have rations, which was a rookie mistake, after a minute or two of anxiously conversing in that ridiculous standoff the bandits started questioning both their leader and their own morality, in the end, the cruel heart of the bandit leader Gorthomir Ironhide grew soft, so soft that he offered us a pouch with 100 gold in it, I don't know if it was out of pity or because we reminded him of his humanity.

The creature inside turned out to be Darklings; they were a lineage of Fey that suffered a curse from the Summer Queen, forever doomed to absorb light and to suffer rapid aging from exposure to it. The absorbed light over the lifetime of a darkling was explosively released at the time of its death, destroying its body and much of its surroundings, or so I once read.

This battle was deadly hard and thrilling, but we found a total of 1500 gold and a few other things, including a gold and ruby key, which balanced the risk. Anyway, on our route back to the city, we grew tired and decided to rest. Myself and Mr. Fly took the first watch, and it seems I don't remember much after, as it appears, I was knocked out while in trans. When I gained my consciousness, the treasure was gone, and so was Mr. Fang, and with that, I conclude my first adventure, an adventure full of good conversation, risk-taking, packed with action and betrayal.

New Friends and The Goblin's Quest:

After Mr. Fang Betrayed us and stole the money Mr.Fly and I shared the reward and he wandered off to gods know where, as days passed I found myself summoned by Hadvar Hewbane, on my way to his office my eyes stopped me to meet this young man named Malik, the man said he lost his memories and ended up here as a new recruit, anyway I enter Hadvar's office to find him telling me that they are short on members to take care of this quest and asking me if I would be willing to do it while showing some rookie (you can guess who) the ropes, he then informed me that the quest had only one Guild member signed for it, Bayul the Loxodon was what he called him.

The three of us were sent to exterminate a band of Goblinoids that were terrorizing a village a few days' travel from the city. Reports said they were taking a certain cave as a hideout and base of operation.

Killing the Goblinoids weren't hard especially when we found two of them caught in a Giant Wolf Spider web, after finishing the job curiosity hit me as always and I want it to explore the cave, burning the web we found, killing a Spider when it tried to defend its home, the burned web revealed another room behind, the room had a decent amount of treasure in it and seemed safe, safe enough to fool my eyes as I went to investigate the pile of gold I was ambushed by more spiders, all I remember was its bite and a second later darkness.

My new friends managed to save me and eliminate the spiders. We looted the cave and traveled back to Murann, tired, bloodied, but happy with our achievements. That whole adventure made me realize how dangerous this job is, and it convinced me I can't do it alone...
